Maria has made volunteer contributions to the community, spending many years as president of Vita Nova Foundation in Vaughan, Smiles of Innocence, in association with Sick Kids, Member of TREB Arbitration Roster Committee, Member of CREA, and OREA, and the Lakelands Real Estate Board, Certificate in Dispute from York University.
